The Unexplainable Leap? Pavlik Moves From 8th to 6th On Most P4P Lists!

Pavlik before Lockett = 8th on most P4P lists.

After Lockett = Pavlik = 6th on most P4P lists.

I think a few of us did a sly one here. And put him a few places higher, when he sure didn't earn it.

I still have Kessler higher than Pavlik.

But someone explain to me this weird leap?

That would be an awesome fight.

Im seeing some signs that Kessler is dropping off a bit since his loss to Calzaghe.

        I think its fair even.

What the **** has Kessler done. How on earth did he make your p4p list. Beating Mundine and losing to Kessler.

That did happen, most people put it down to Mayweather retiring and removing Hopkins from their list.

If Kelly goes on winning and beats Abraham expect to se him elevated much higher.

I rate Kessler above him though, and above any other MW-LHW other than Joe Calzaghe. I think Kessler is a really special boxer, and I hope he proves it in future.

You get on the P4P list by knocking out the undisputed Middleweight champ, not by beating some bums and losing to your first decent opponent.

I was about to say the same thing, its due to Hopkins/Mayweather retirements, not the Lockett win. Really hope Pavlik fights Abraham next instead of Rubio, which in my opinion would be more like just another tune up fight which is unnecessary. Pav should fight Abraham, and then move up and face Kessler/Calzaghe as there will be nothing left for him at MW as the only real test left is Abraham.
