Nate Campbell vs. Joan Guzman - 9/13 on Showtime?

Whoa, HBO drew first blood here. HBO moved Diaz-Katsidis from Sept 13 to Sept 6, knowing full well that Sept 6 (first Sat of the month) was already a Showtime date. All Showtime did was to decide that they preferred to go up against a weak ppv in Casa-JMM rather than going up against the much anticipated Diaz-Katsidis clash. Sounds like the right move to me.Comment

Until boxing takes a page out of the UFC book and puts together a "Great" card they are always gonna have critics. I mean I don't really care for MMA of any kind but at least they give you some big names outside the main event. If I am paying for Casamayor/Juan Manuel Marquez then I would like to see Diaz/Katsidis and Guzman/Campbell all on the same PPV card, eliminate competition from networks. HBO/Showtime first ever collaboration to put together a light weight tourney style card that could draw interest in one of if not the best division in boxing!!!! Boxing always competing with themselves and other sytles of fighting in the world, PROMOTERS and NETWORKS need to come together at least once and make a HUGE card, maybe even ESPN would take notice and give it a little promotion!!!!!Comment

For those not in the know. HBO and Showtime never compete against each other because they are owned by the same parent company. So their so called competition is bull****. That is like TBS competing with TNT
Besides that I'm going with CampbellComment

FYI, HBO is owned by Time Warner, and Showtime is owned by CBS. They are in fact competitors......Comment
