Has Pavlik softened Pantera's chin?

I think Miranda has a good chin, but he just has piss poor defense. Abraham hits very hard, and he caught Miranda solid.

I remeber Howard Eastman being able to catch Miranda flush and hurting him about 3 times. Miranda has a good chin, but it was never considered concrete by any means. Sweetness Alan Green was another one to hurt Miranda badly and even drop him. He just refused to follow up on it.

i was trying to tell people about how Eastman had him hurt aswell because people were making out he had a Hagler type chin pre Abraham

The bottom line on the issue of Miranda's chin is simple. Fighters with truly excellent chins do not even get seriously hurt, let alone KOd. Miranda has been hurt and wobbled by Eastman, to name only one and has now been KOd by both Pavlik and Abraham, and all this in what has been a very short career at the highest level, since he left Colombia.

Fighters like Bernard Hopkins, Joe Calzaghe and Antonio Margarito have gone for years and years without even being close to being KOd, because they have truly excellent chins. Miranda's, by all available evidence is Ok at best.

As for whether Pavlik softened Miranda up, I think this is silly. I'm sure it hurt Miranda's pride to get KOd by The Ghost but I don't think it had much bearing on his ability to remain standing after Abraham exploded bombs in his face. His chin was never that good to start with.
