    Has Pavlik softened Pantera's chin?

    Vote. Discuss.

I think the Pavlik fight has indeed softened his chin. He took (if I recall correctly, I refuse resorting to boxrec) 193 power shots before he got TKO'd.

He took about one fourteenth as many punches tonight and got his world rocked.

No, Miranda wasn't softened up. I do believe he was weakened for this fight making weight. He looked very skinny at the weigh-in when people were saying he looked cut. Abraham hits like a mule anyway.

Tbh, I have never seen any of Abraham's fights but he's a lot stronger than I thought.

I remeber Howard Eastman being able to catch Miranda flush and hurting him about 3 times. Miranda has a good chin, but it was never considered concrete by any means. Sweetness Alan Green was another one to hurt Miranda badly and even drop him. He just refused to follow up on it.

He never did have a great chin, Pavlik had nothing to do with it.

possible. kinda like how peter was very durable before but now looked kinda shaky lately after the beating he took from wlad.

maybe he fought too soon after the ko.

but arthur does have 22 ko's so he ain't no weak puncher. he just picked his shots and edison needs to work on his defense.

Left, i just thought peter got caught by mccline. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you get caught, hurt or ko'd in other fights. This theory that it carries into other fights is both true and false. I believe more false than true. If you can fight, you will rise to the occassion. The fact that Peter finished the wlad fight showed peter had heart.

Look at Lacy, I don't think he'll ever recover.

One person is not going to change the fact he couldnt take punches to begin with
