They shouldn't have stopped it only because he got up. You can't really see if the corner was in the ring before he got up. Lederman said they WERE in the ring, and on the apron before he got up. The stool they said was in the ring while the count was going on. The ref's comments after the fight were terrible. He looked drunk too. If anything they could've stopped it after the third knockdown. He fell flat on his face on that last knockdown. Since the ref didn't stop it, he deserved to fight on imo.

Spoon was wobbling and needed help just to get back to his corner. He was finished. The DQ was appropriate because his corner was clearly in too early. Anyone who remembers the first Junior Jones-Barrera fight saw something similar.
