Yeah the stoppage was confusing and the ref really didn't make sense in his interview with Max, but it was probably the best time to stop the fight because Chazz was out on his feet and would have just taken a even bigger beating if the fight would have went on.Comment

It wasn't like Chazz all the sudden got hurt, he had been taking shots from the first round. He boxed a little better in the second, but in the third you could see I just didn't have what it takes to keep Ariola (sp?) off. He stumbled trying to get up from that last knock down, and appeared to be leaning on the ropes after he got up. He looked hurt to the point he wasn't going to get out of the next round. I'm glad they stopped it, even like that. Let them have a rematch.Comment

They shouldn't have stopped it only because he got up. You can't really see if the corner was in the ring before he got up. Lederman said they WERE in the ring, and on the apron before he got up. The stool they said was in the ring while the count was going on. The ref's comments after the fight were terrible. He looked drunk too. If anything they could've stopped it after the third knockdown. He fell flat on his face on that last knockdown. Since the ref didn't stop it, he deserved to fight on imo.It wasn't like Chazz all the sudden got hurt, he had been taking shots from the first round.
