I agree too. He is more than a match for pav because of his power and defense. I thought abraham was better than taylor too. Abraham is a force.

I'm reading that a lot lately... I disagree.

AA isn't a counter-puncher. He waits until he feels comfortable in his shell to throw. While sometimes it is a counter he just as often (or more so) decides to take the initiative to throw some shots of his own. He's not a counter puncher in my eyes, despite having the ability to do so occasionally.

I agree actually, he is the strangest fighter operating at the top level. Nobody fights like him and if they did they are probably sporting **** records. His style can only work for him.

Once his opponents make mistakes, he Capitalises on them straight away. Even if he is losing a round, he makes up for it in the last minute and wins it. I have noticed that in most of his fights, he didn't do it too much in this one though, He was waiting for Miranda to leave himself open.

I think abadger said it just looked as if Abraham just knocked Miranda the **** out when he wanted too. It literally looked like that. Is that counterpunching or I dunno counter fighting.
                lol.

Complete ownage anyway you look at it. Miranda got embarrassed there big time.

Jesus Christ! Looking at that video you have there Dorian, I don't know how Abraham did win. How absurdly wide and winging were those hooks! Miranda...well, maybe not Miranda but someone with decent skill would just not get hit cleanly by those shots and they should also be able to counter those easily and rather painfully for Abraham. He looks like a damn big ape!

Nevertheless, he also looks very strong and has a half decent turtle defense. Still, nothing close to as good as 'Winky' but he may use the weird style he has rather well. It would be an interesting style match up against Pavlik. Has Abraham actually fought anyone good yet? I've not really taken much notice of him before.

The one or two fights I've seen of him he doesn't seem to be overly offensive and he also doesn't seem enough of a counter puncher to warrant not being offensive. He would want to throw a lot more than usual if he expects to beat Pavlik on a decision. Pavlik could beat most of the middle weights today on volume alone.

Anyway, we'll see how the new Abraham bandwagon hype goes from here.

Abraham ownzez everyone! He rulez! New Pound for Pound king!
