Maybe I'm just a lil drunk and not reading clearly, but you're saying you had "Miranda well, well ahead?" So you had Miranda winning the fight clearly?

As far as the ref: you can say it was a cluster **** with the broken jaw and how they handled it, but given the fact he could've packed it up and gone home with the W right then and there; I'm not sure what you're bitching about. And given the numerous low blows that Miranda continued to throw and how blatant that headbutt was, I'm not sure how you can be upset about Miranda getting what he deserved.
Headbutt was blatant. Low blows were certainly not blatant, and all of them, besides one, were on the belt line. It was a cluster **** indeed.

Just a typo on my part: I had Abraham well ahead.

While I can understand your argument that not all 3 of the low blows should've warranted point deductions, 1-2 of them definitely should have.

This actually makes me feel better, thought I was trippin!

I personally think the ref only took the points because of abraham's acting job. Everytime there was a punch that was on the belt line, he looked at the ref to tell him it was low, or he would pretend he was hurt. The ref obviously sided with abraham in this regard.

All of those "low blows" are pretty common in boxing and occur on a regular basis without warning or point deductions.

Like I said, it was a cluster ****. The fight should have been stopped on several occasions and 5 point deductions is extremely excessive.

But I think we're just going to go in circles here. We are going to have to agree to disagree because clearly we both saw the fight differently.

Low blows are common, you're right. However, if the ref decides to warn you and you keep doing it, then you're too ****ing ****** to win the fight and deserve every point deduction you get. Golota and anybody else can all **** themselves.

5 Points only seems like a lot from afar. Watching the fight I recall only chuckling at 1 of the low blow point deductions and felt it wasn't needed. The other 4 (2 from the Headbutt) were all fine with me.

To quote myself from 10-1-2006 on this forum:

The judges did see it my way this time but a decent section of the public doesn't and I just can't agree with their perspective or even understand it.
There is no way Miranda won enough rounds to get a W w/ the point deductions, and without them it's a crap shoot.

Miranda did a poor job on capitilizing on his situation (even with the ref working against him) but Abraham did alot of ****** **** that made the fight hard to score for him (IMO). When he would throw at Miranda, and then just stop! He would just ****ing cover up and let Miranda wail away. I thought Miranda deserved the win, but the point deductions (even though they were ridiculous) did him in.

Miranda is pure street trash. The man INTENTIONALLY head butts someone with a broken jaw. That's low, desperate, and weak ***** ass ****. Hopefully Abraham knocks him down to the ground where he belongs.

Yeah im not sure where these lob-sided miranda claims are coming from.

He had a decent workrate but man he was sloppy.
