chambers is nice (and entertaining) when he's actually moving his hands.

I'd like to see how Chambers does as a cruiserweight.

Nice to see Chambers get that victory. I felt like he was doing well in the Povetkin fight and was just beating him to the punch, but it seemed like he got tired and stopped doing anything while Povetkin kept pressing forward. We'll see if that loss has really motivated Eddie to be even better.

          that povetkin fight was embarrasing.
chambers threw a tantrum after his dad kept yelling at him. eddie would go out there and do the exact opposit. the way his dad was swearing demeaningly at eddie. he shouldnt be allowed in the corner.
          chambers helped povetkin win.

Yeah I remember that wasn't McGirt and Chamber's Dad in the corner.

I was at fight. Although judges had it 5-1 Chambers going into 6th I and my friends thought it was dead even. Butler won first round on all three judges cards. He actually was faster and hit a lot harder. He actually outboxed Eddie in first round. Second round very close but I thought Butler won with harder jabs. Third round very close, I thought even but could of gone either way. Chambers won 4th and 5th but very very close. Butler was giving good account of himself. Butler opened up cuts on both Chambers eyes and had caused big swelling under Chambers left eye. 6th round very close when a little over two minutes into round Butler backed into ropes and dropped hands. Chambers siezed opening landed flush one ,two on Butler chin and followed up with 4 punch combo. Butler gamely up at 8 and argued to ref he was okay but on slightly wombly legs so ref stopped. Most people I talked to thought stoppage premature. This was good action packed fight with a lot of back and forth. Butler definitely in the fight.

So it seems like Butler didn't give such a bad account of himself. I'd like to see this fight, hopefully someone will post it on Youtube.

Chambers could have stopped Calvin Brock as well if Brock wasn't on the retreat for the last couple of rounds. Brock was busted up and hurt as well. Chambers power is seriously underrated becuase he is more known for his boxing ability and quickness. I actually don't understand what happened in the Povetkin fight. He didn't seem fatigued or hurt at any point of fight, he simply stopped fighting. He wouls have success when he would let his hands go. He was landing at will.

Povetkin just kept coming. I think Chambers has stamina issues because he's gotten away with fighting in spurts for so long that it' become part of his style. It cost him in that fight.

I don't blame his corner for getting on his ass about that. What good is terrific hand speed if you don't use it?

Butler has a tendency to choke in big events. He has the Polish Warrior Art Binkowski down 3 times in the first and still managed to lose that fight by 8th round tko. He has bigger stamina issues than Chambers.
