good move, good move, good move, any and all fighters should be thinking the same thing, shaw has proven time and time again, that he mistreats his fighters, and he puts them in awkward positions that effect all aspects of the fighters life, inside the ring, camp, and at home. shaw is a creepy dude also, what was that thing when he had pacquiao sitting on his lap like some old pervert, and after a fight he used to love having his fighters rest on him or lean on him, he did it with chico too, weird stuff, guy creeps me out through and through.........

kirkland and donaire are thinking wisely for looking out for themselves, there are far better promoters out there that will actually give a **** about their fighters, and although there are some sticky things that happen in and around boxing, one thing for sure, shaw is low rung on that ladder, being amongst the dirtiest in my observation of his acts towards others/his fighters.

    IMHO

Kirkland's last fight was in May, his next was scheduled for October. Now I don't know, but isn't that a really long time between fights for a prospect? Or is that normal? I mean he just came off a 1st round knock out, he doesn't need that long, and you'd have to bet that he's hungry.

So technically I think it is good news, cause we'll hopefully see Kirkland in the ring sooner then October, and if Shaw had plans to get Kirkland in with Angulo, Shaw might try to get Angulo a fight before October too. I don't know though, all I know is that October seemed way too far away to see Angulo and Kirkland in another fight.

Gary Shaw helped us see Corrales-Castillo (1 and 2) and the Vasquez-Marquez triology...
