For the big fights I get the same way. Especially if one of my favorite fighters is fighting. It's like a little adrenaline rush.
Who get's anxiety before watching a fight?

every 4 years for the world cup.
I think boxing is different because a KO can happen at any time. I think the last 10 minutes of a close knockout football match is intense though!Comment

I was on the edge of my goddamn seat for Hopkins/Calsoggy. I picked soggy to win and when he went down in the first my entire view of him as a boxer changed.
I'll be pretty excited for Miranda vs. Abraham this saturday...Comment

ive actually seen a cage fight where a dude died .... its sickening so i completely know what ur saying dudeAnother thing (call me a big whuss if you like) is when boxers get really knocked out as if they're dead, sometimes makes me sick because I just dread the worse.
I'm talking about the fights where you shout at the TV something like "****ing hell ref!! stop the ****ing fight!".
Where literally they're standing unconscious on the ropes and the ref doesn't stop the fight, espcially in the HW division when the other boxer knows they're knocked out and queue's up a super deadly knockout blow.Comment

Yeah, "extra time" during a huge tournament football (soccer) game is major worry for me. Manchester United vs Chelsea penalty shootout I had to switch the TV off.Comment

WTF is extra time? I was watching a game for the first time the other day and it went into "extra time", only nobody knew how much time there was. How the hell do you not know how much time is left in the game??Comment

Yeah me too, Im gonna be pumped for that Miranda/Abraham fight. I remember the Pavlik fight, I was getting goosebumps from all the good action that was going on. I like both fighters, but I was getting nervous because I could tell Pavlik was controlling the fight and it was probably going to end in a KO.Comment

A soccer game last for 90 minutes, if it's a final and let's say it's 1-1 or 2-2 (basically a draw at the end of the 90 minutes) then there needs to be a winner, so they do a thing called extra time which adds 30 minutes to the game hoping one of the teams will score again making it 3-2 etc therefore you have a winner (bit more complicated than that but your get the idea). If neither team score a goal or both score again in extra time making it a draw still, then it goes to penalties after extra time which is like sudden death!!! happens all the time in big soccer tournaments and it's the worst feeling ever when your team looses to penalities, it's nail biting stuff.
Take a look

Absolutely. The greatest anxiety I've had was before Tyson's fight back when he was champ. I was genuinely concerned for the other guy's health.Ok, maybe I'm not alone, do any of you get strange form of anxiety just before watching a big boxing fight?
I can only describe it as a nervous adrenaline when they introduce the boxers just before watching the first round. It's weird, it's as if I'm the one fighting and not them. Maybe it's the build up before the fight. After round 1 or 2 I'm fine, but just before a fight I get real sense of anxiety especially if it's one of my favourite fighters.Comment
