I do when it's a fight i really care about, like Calzaghe-Hopkins, Hatton-Mayweather or Haye-Macca.
Who get's anxiety before watching a fight?

Castillo-Corrales I was insanity for me. I had picked Corrales to win IN THE 10TH and wanted vindication badly. He was my favorite fighter of all time and I knew it was going to be wild.
Other than that, I remember being excited for Mayweather-De La Hoya because so many non-boxing fans were watching with me and I had said Mayweather would win easy. I just kept telling myself, "Watch Oscar get lucky and catch him"Comment

Haha...when Hatton got check hooked by Mayweather and KO'd I curled up on the floor and died. I knew he was going to get beat, but never ever ever ever expected a knockout victory.Comment

Another thing (call me a big whuss if you like) is when boxers get really knocked out as if they're dead, sometimes makes me sick because I just dread the worse.
I'm talking about the fights where you shout at the TV something like "****ing hell ref!! stop the ****ing fight!".
Where literally they're standing unconscious on the ropes and the ref doesn't stop the fight, espcially in the HW division when the other boxer knows they're knocked out and queue's up a super deadly knockout blow.Comment

i get nervous when my fav fighters are fighting. Sometimes I get too excited like a little girl. That's why I make sure I'm a little buzzed before the main event.Comment

Not so much in boxing, but MMA for me. I hate when the guy is clearly knocked out but the other fighter continues to swing away.Another thing (call me a big whuss if you like) is when boxers get really knocked out as if they're dead, sometimes makes me sick because I just dread the worse.

Ok, maybe I'm not alone, do any of you get strange form of anxiety just before watching a big boxing fight?
I can only describe it as a nervous adrenaline when they introduce the boxers just before watching the first round. It's weird, it's as if I'm the one fighting and not them. Maybe it's the build up before the fight. After round 1 or 2 I'm fine, but just before a fight I get real sense of anxiety especially if it's one of my favourite fighters.
The same feeling on September for NFL Kickoff Sunday, and the Superbowl... the wait is a killer. Other sports like MLB and NBA have long ass seasons. You just lose interest or "DON'T GET THAT FEELING". But after waiting for 8 months, when you get that first NFL weekend. I get the same rush as we do for boxing. Because of the ****ing wait. I wished I could watch the best boxers fight on a monthly basis... but then again, fight night loses that special feeling you get when your boy is fighting a big fight.
Then again Quintana loses in the first round and the more anxious you were, worse will be the shock. I knew Quintana needed another 12 perfect rounds to beat PW, but still, he is a fellow Boricua and you get pumped before the fight. Then again, JuanMa fixed it all an hour later....
