Amir Khan: "I Can Beat Manny Pacquiao and David Diaz"

I don't mind if he fights Nate in about six months time and loses. People place too much importance on an undefeated record. Almost all fighters lose at some point, and the experience would almost certainly make him a better fighter. Hopefully he'll fight a better opponent next time out(someone in the top 20 at least!) and then we can see what level he's at. Beating Gomez proves nothing at all.

he has good skills. just need to fight a little bit better comp so he gets more seasoned.
he'll be fine as long as they keep developing him. i don't think he's ready for a title yet though. maybe in a few more years. he has all the physical tools but if you push him too quickly he might get "casamayored" against a seasoned vet like katsidis. the future at 135 is between kats and amir imo.

Totally agree, I don't think he's ready for title shot but who else can he fight? there can be no gradual build up with a fighter like Khan, either he goes for it now or he fights bums for the next 2 years.

joe is very good but i wouldn't go that far. he already beat most everyone at super middle but 168 was a weak division the past 10 yrs. or so. he would've beat everyone at 160 as well except prime hopkins.
175 might prove a little bit more difficult for joe though. i think tarver and him could go either way a few years back. he probably beats tarver now. glen johnson wouldn't be an easy task for joe. i think joe beats montell griffin , clinton woods , julio gonzalez , etc. but a prime toney at 168 or 175 would definitely beat joe.
joe is good but people get carried away with him. i don't think he beats hopkins although if joe was at middleweight he would've dominated middle like bernard did. i'm not very impressed with bernard's resume either so you can see my misgivings about joe's as well. joe would've accomplished at 160 what bernard did as well. joppy and holmes weren't worldbeaters and joe would've beaten the much smaller de la hoya as hop did and jabbed trinidad to death as well.

Kat has Hatton style, I don't think Khan would be able to deal with that pressure for 12 rounds.
