Mojack's "Big fat" American guide to understanding British context....

Ok guys. This is for the American friends across the atlantic.
I got a pm before asking me what the word "bollocks" means. So I've decided to create a thread so you can catch up to speed on British words and compound words that are used in specific contexts quite a lot on this forum.

    Ok let's start...

    Bollocks

Something rubbish, nonsense or bull****. Dervived from the testicals (don't ask me why).

    Example of usage:

    "You're talking bollocks!" (you're bull****ting)
"That Mel Gibson movie was a load of bollocks." (it was crap!)
"That Tony Blair is talking bollocks again." (he's talking nonsense)

    ****

The word **** is only insulting to Americans and over zealous feminists who don't realise its beauty.
A slang word for a vagina. But is also used for a harsh insult.

    Example of usage:

    "You're a ****!" (it's bit like saying you're a bastard, not a nice person)
"I'll kick his ****ing **** in!" (I'll beat him up)

    Fanny

    No, it's not a bottom, it's the Brits word for a *****.

    Example of usage:

    "You're big fanny!" - (you're a whuss!)

    Wanker or Tosser

While "to wank" means "to **********", the term "wanker" is seldom if ever used in British slang to denote "one who wanks". It is quite wrong to infer from somebody's being a wanker that they in fact wank (and vice versa), but of course, fair to assume they do in any case. Herein lies the genius of the insult: if you call someone a wanker, it's probably true, but only literally.

    Example of usage:

    "You're a wanker!" - (a prick / an idiot / not a nice person)

    Fat Yanks

A belittling, uncomplimentary, denigrating term used for Americans and shouldn't be taken literally/personally.

    Example of usage:

"You big fat yank!" - (you big overweight American)
"Pie eating, doughnut eating fat yanks!" - (Pie eating, doughnut eating overweight American's)
"You sweaty, greasy hot dog eating fat yanks" (You sweaty, greasy hot dog eating overweight American's)
"You stinking ****** fat yank!" (you smell and you're a ****** overweight American)
"Die, Die, Die fat yank!" (Die, Die, Die you overweight American)
"Suck my ball bag, you doughnut eating fat ****ing yank!" (suck my scrotom and testicals, you doughnut eating overweight American)

A sentence with all the above my look something like this

"You big fat yanks are all wankers! you're talking absolute bollocks! there's no way Pavlik would KO Calzaghe, Pavlik is a fanny. Now STFU! ****s!"

That's it. Feel free to use these terms as ninja ammo against your enemy Brit's and suprise them during e-fights.
    Stay safe!

If you're still struggling with the British vernacular, as an exercise, repeat after me:
