i agree, tyson could punch, and tommy's chin wasnt that great. but mike was also beatable in that period, and tommy wasnt a seldon or a mcneely

scott, do you think tommy's well documented steroid use made his left hook so lethal? he clearly got bigger and added more mass due to help from the roids. do you think it gave him that power?

edit: never mind, already read your answer

dude rewatch lewis vs morrison..that was a sloppy lennox lewis vs tommy at his best and lennox absolutely destroys him. Tyson would have killed him. IMO he is a very average fighter with a few great qualities that make him look good at times. Also he got absolutely destroyed by a no name guy in michael bentt. Bentt just walked thru this guy.

lewis was at his best in the morrsion fight. morrsion actually had bentt in serious trouble in the 1st round and walked into a right hand while trying to finish him against the ropes. he never recovered from that first right hand. morrsion had horrible stamina,,and average at best chin and defense but had tremendous power and speed in his left hook

roids cant teach you to use proper body leverage, and Tommy used to sit down a lot on that punch. it was a classic punch, comparable to a lot of great left hookers.
well didn't tyson use roids to and roy jones maybe they got extra power from roids to

Morrison was only 26 and didn't properly prepare for many of his fights. He was an exciting fighter and dominated Foreman for the WBO belt. The Duke would have won and lost another title, probably a few more times.

He would have remained a decent fighter and made more money, but that's about it.

Tommy came up through the ranks with one punch and one punch only, his left hook. Even so, it really was one of the best punches in the history of the sport.

I agree with the other poster that said he would have one and lost a couple more titles.

lewis wasnt at his best. Any lewis fan will tell you he was sloppy techinque wise and really began to shine was emmanuel stewart came in and polish lennox up.

umm, steward was in the corner for the morrison fight, and they already had a few fights together before tommy.

steward also said in an interview years later that Lewis had a lot of respect for Tommy, and trained hard for the fight. you can see in the fight that Lewis was holding right hand high to avoid that hook. Lennox was in supreme condition for that fight

if anything, Tommy looked a little sloppy and not really offensive minded. But i still see lennox beating Tommy regardless, unless Morrison is able to snaek his left.
