the thing about the "better defense" aspect is that in order for both brothers to be effective, they had to give up some space because they had to be more offensive. if they would have concentrated more on defense, their offense wouldn't have been as effective as it was. catch 22.

the 12 ****in round. the only people i've seen give Pac the 12 round in that fight are filipino.

I am filipino and i gave the 12th rd to Marquez but my card still has Pacquiao winning. The only rd i have Pacquiao winning but could see goin to Marquez on someone else's card would be the 5th rd. But then it would only be a draw at best considering every other rd in the fight was pretty clear for each guy.

And if you wanna talk about the 12th rd....on the official cards that nite...1 of the judges gave the 10th rd to Marquez even though it was Pac's best round of the fight outside of the 3rd so it evens out

Well that's understandable if you had marquez winning 7 rds to 5 including the knockdown Or if you had it 6rds to 6 like i did and take the knockdown out of the equation. But what really irritates me are these statements like "everytime i watch that fight i have Marquez winning by an even larger margin" WTF??? it's a draw at best. i dont remember my exact scores but im not a nuthugger or biased. i know JMM should have lost the first fight and also the fight with Barrera if the KD would have counted.

Neither am i. There's no doubt his 2 with Pac and the fight with Barrera were the biggest fights of his career. I keep watching all 3 of those fights since this tread started and bending over backwards to try and be as generous to Marquez as possible but no matter how hard i try I still have him coming up short 0-3 against both of those guys if the knockdown counted for barrera. I just dont understand where this Marquez is virtually undefeated crap is coming from
