With Oscar Eyeing Cotto, Team Wright Ponders Possibilities

Just when it looked like there was a glimmer of hope that Winky Wright could land a bout with Oscar De La Hoya, the window of opportunity abruptly closed.

He should still be pushing for a showdown with Pavlik at 160, good money for both and one hell of an exciting fight.

As long as he fights someone. It has been way too long.

Winky is a great fighter the problem the is his thirst
to cash in big paydays is hurting him. he should have taken
the rematch with taylor a fight he clearly won. then he would
be calling the shots instead of chasing down lesser opponents...

Wright vs Hopkins was the most boring fight in the history of this galaxy...

But it was not Winky's fault, Hopkins didn't came to fight, BHop was just wrestling

Wright vs. Kirkland? I have Kirkland by KO. I think Wright would be better retiring or looking for a rematch against Trinidad since both of them are inactive, then the winner stays a bit active and then retires, and the loser just retires with no shame.

no way, I think Winky destroys Kirkland right now. I would love to see him fight Dorrell though
