If Paulie almost dropped him (not hurt him) what ddo you think a margs right hand would have done in that fight?

Margo won't be able to land like that on Cotto like he wasn't able to land on Clottey when Clottey's hand wasn't hurt..

Cotto has never faced a puncher who hits as hard as Tony IMO. This fight is going to be a war and it will all depend on whose chin holds up best.

But i think that a Margs right hand in that same position, squared up throwing a wide punch, Margs drops him. Margs is too heavy handed.

I feel Margarito will be more dangerous late in the fight if he can effectively apply pressure early in the fight and take a little bit of the wind out of Cotto's sails. Early on though Margarito is going to take some punishment trying to break Cotto down.

We might see something along the lines of Cotto-Mosley, where Cotto was a super hero early on and then turned in a 4 Corners game plan for the last quarter of the fight.

The onus is on Margarito to cut him off and cut him down.

Whether Margarito can formulate an intelligent enough game plan to get it done is an entirely different question.

Are you going to the fight? You having some boxing IQ. Great post. I think Cotto will get to Margs early. Maybe even a flash knock down. But I think that late in the fight, Margs will be too heavy handed and will be behind on the score cards at the time of the stoppage in the favor of Margs. I say 10 or 11 for Margs.

I know almost gets you no where. But if Cotto is out of position like that and throws a wide punch, Margs can catch him and drop him. Just my opinion.

Cotto is even smarter now.
Marg does hit harder then malignaggi(obviously).
Malignaggi is faster then Margs,quicker hands.
Yes cotto will get rocked if he is off balanced like that with margs. Cause like i said anyone could get rocked/kd being off balanced like that.

But Cotto will be hurt if he gets hit like that. Paulie just didnt have the pop. but Cotto does square up alot, which means Margs have more area to land. Margs will give Cotto 2 or 3 shots to land 1. If Cotto goes back to his bad habit and squares up, the fight will be in Margs favor. And I also think that Cotto can onl back pedal for so long. Eventually Margs will catch up (even if its in spurts) and Cotto will have to fight. I am anxious to see how Cotto reacts when they throw "CHINGASOS".

Would Malignaggi be able to completely dominate Kermit Cintron?
Just admit it. Cotto was wobbled by feather fisted Malignaggi.
Now sure Cotto has faced stronger punchers since but Margarito is heavy handed and an in your face fighter.
