Cotto beat Mosley and is now fighting Margarito, both are top guys at welter. Fighting Mosley and Margarito is a lot more dignified than fighting Baldomir or Judah. Even a shot DLH.

Greats beat other greats. The few names in Gayweather's resume that are elites re Castillo, who beat him once and hatton. And Hatton was a blown-up welter so not much of a credit there.

If he retired after thise fights, he would be considered a hall of famer

Oscars short fight legacy would be better than Floyds career with these fights but i wouldnt put Oscar in my top 25 based on this,

only americans think of their american fighter Floyd as greatest after just 5 years of dodging guys and saying he wiped out devisions

Oscar didnt dodge and he foght the Mosleys, Trinidads, Vargases, Hopkins, Mayorgas, and even way out of prime , he gave Mayweather a Split decision win which means Mayweather won but not in a decisive matter to a old man Oscar,

If so then you are exceptionally wise.

To sum it up an ATG has names on his resume which will stand the test of time.

Take for examply Pacquiao. Beating legends like Morales and Barrera and provided he continues to win against top opposition will solidify his claim as an ATG.

And it doesn't hurt that Muhammad Ali compared himself to Pacquiao.

If you look at it DLH career surpasses Gayweather very easily.

At the very least in DLH's resume there are a lot of HOF and guys which were considered the best.

Although DLH had his defeats those will do very little to hurt his legacy.

And it will be icing on the cake once DLH decides to fight Cotto as his last fight.
