Exactly. It was either a way of getting under Enzo's skin, or something for Joe to think about. Would he want to get revenge for his Welsh mate? Would he be tempting into thinking Pavlik is really great, and wants to beat all the greats in the US before retiring? Although it sounds like it backfired as now Calzaghe pussied out of the fight

Yeah GBP has a lot of learning to do before they make the cut. They were attempting to make a Zab vs Mosley fight PPV, give me a ****ing break.

Arum is a great guy! He made dlh and floyd!!!! He did alot for them.. They call bob greedy but floyd and dlh left because they are just as greedy and wanted more of the money to themselves. The promoters dont do the actually fighting but without a promoter there is no fights!! Who else is going to front all the money to put a fight on??? Who pays all the fee's???? I hate when people say that bob is greedy....They must have no knowledge of life and what really goes on. No matter what business you are in they are all trying to make the most money possible!! Every promoter can be considered greedy they are trying to make money! ****en boxers are just as greedy dont put that title solely on bob. Bob gives us great fights!!! A true boxing fan promoter we need bob arum...Imagen boxing with out bob arum...we'd be left with dlh and golden boys

No he didn't. Cotto-Gomez was an expensive advertisement for Margarito-Cotto. Then Pavlik-Lockett was A.Pavlik's mandatory, and B. it was another attempt at luring Calzaghe in for a big fight with Pavlik. Bob is smart at what he does, he's been at this game for a loooooong time. But I also agree, he has put the best matches in recent times together and boxing has to be thankful for that. It's nothing King would ever dare these days, and Goldenboy has been lacking greatly in their matchups. I think Bob Arum is listening to the fans by the way he talks in his video interviews, and he understands the state of boxing. He's an old timer who is giving back to the sport that made him rich(and still), before his promoting days are over. Long live the Bobfather

BTW-Look at my top 3 favorite fighters. You can't deny they are exciting and great for boxing regardless of your love or hate for them. Now guess who promotes all 3? Yup, Bob is the man! Aside from Pacquiao, Bob has had Cotto and Pavlik since their prospect days, and now look where they are at? He's great at building careers and creating the next big thing so to speak, not to mention finding talent at young ages.
