Yeah Jimenez ain't a ***** and Gamboa laid a pretty sound beating on him despite taking a few too many punches.

If he drops the hubris and gets over himself he could be a monster. Dude has unlimited physical talent in the way Jones had. His hand speed is off the charts. If he could work on some defensive technique inside to complement his ability to move in and out of range he's gonna be a problem.

      Well hes young.

Everyone was jumping on Gamboa's nuts.

But the truth is. He has no defence. And while he has good speed, his combinations are sloppy and leaves himself open.

      Thats just the truth.

If he wins a legit belt more than once i will be shocked.

This guy is wildly over rated.

Jorge Linares is 5 times the better prospect.
How can Linares be a prospect when he already is a WBC titlist and considered one of the best in the division?

So? Wilfred Benitez was younger than Ray Leonard, did that make him a prospect?

Yeah, Gamboa beats Jimenez wining 11 out of 12 rounds and pounds the crap out of Darlings face in what is only Gamboa's 10th pro fight and people jump off the bandwagon.

Basically the only negative thing said about the kid is he keeps his hands down low.

Regardless, you know of any other prospects that look that good after 10 pro fights? If so, please point me in their direction...

                Listen. Define prospect.

                Whats it mean?

Well it relates back to age and what they can achieve in the future.

While both Gamboa and Linares have a lot to achieve. Im certain Linares will be a top 3 P4P fighter by the end of his career and that is achieveing a lot more than he has now. So hes still a prospect!

He's good and people are too harsh, hes in the ring against boxers that other boxers would piss themselves to be in the ring against. And I don't know what you're talking about Gamboa destroyed his last opponent and people still diss the kid.

Other than Tye Fields and Leon Spinks (won the title in his frickin 8th fight), I can't think of anybody else.

Exactly (I was going to say besides Tye Fields who went 14-0 with 14 first round KO's).
