Tiger loses sometimes but for the most part you're playing for second. Has boxing ever had a phenom like this? Robinson is the closest I can think of because at his time no one really could touch him. Ali to me was never clearly the best at the time, he was better than Frazier but not by much.

no...every time a boxer looks invisible...an opponent comes along and exposes him. Boxing is so difficult to dominate, but maybe some time in the future we may get one

here are some that come close

Ray leonard...but he was dismatled by duran
Ali...but got caught by frazier, Jaw broken by norton but still came back to avenge both losses.

Roy jones jr seemed untouchable until he lost his desire combined by moving down to quickle and getting beat by subpar fighters in Johnson and tarver

Mosely looked the part until he ran in forrest

Hamed looked like a force until barrera and his lack of desire and love for the sport

But out of all of them Tyson looked to be the closet IMO. But too much outside distractions and mental problems prevented him for being that dude. He had the tools to do so though.

Robinson was as close as were going to get. Don't count the losses past the age of 40 of which he had 12

lennox lewis...plz. McCall and rahman both ran through lennox and lennox was exposed during the Kliskcho fight. Lennox claim to fame was two wins against over the hill fighters in Holyfield and Tyson.
