It depends who's in your top ten. From what I've seen of Berto, he's skillful boxer and who's got decent power when he wants to use it. I'd say he beats Cintron, Collazo, and maybe even Zab...

Was just watching his fight with Cosme Rivera on youtube last night.

Berto has himself a nice little glass jaw, I remember seeing it live and being disgusted at the way his corner cheated to keep him in the fight.

Watch this video, Berto will get dropped with about 15 seconds left in the round. The bell rings saving him but watch how ****ed up he is going back to his corner, his feet are all splayed out as he waddles like a penguin back to his corner.

1 minute was not enough time to recover... watch close in the vid... as it is about to end you can see Berto's corner man ripping the tape from his glove on his right hand behind the graphic when it pops up.

As soon as the next round was going to start the corner brings the ripped tape to the refs attention and wastes about another 30 seconds fixing the problem and allowing Berto to further recover.

Berto is nothing special packing his Wladimir Katsidis chin, he will get mauled by any legit WW and i wouldnt be surprised if he was upset by the powderpuff chosen for his first title fight

Berto will probably lose to some and beat some top 5 welterweights. I think he could beat most top 5-10 welterweights.

thats what im saying, reed kept saying that hes just doing what everyone else does through 21 fights. but everyone else doesent get breast fed the WBC title in 21 fights.

So berto and his corner pulled an ali-cooper type win. Do you know how many greats have went down before they got a title shot. Henry armstrong was ko'd, ali was down twice before he got his shot. A glass jaw is kelcie banks. A glass jaw is john tate. Does cosme rivera have a glass jaw? Zab judah practically killed the guy. Berto did what any fighter does when he gets caught. He got up. I didn't see too much of a stumble from Berto. He did well against the capable estrada, and has looked good since. I'd like to see him step up his comp, but the rivera fight didn't show me he had a glass jaw.

There aren't that many top welters. Quintana can't beat him. Quintana is no longer a top welter. I think shane is too old to beat berto. I think he can do well with some more experience.
