It's delusional......other then that I agree.
The thing is, the large majority of us fans have already made up our mind that RJJ is the better fighter then Calzaghe. So beating RJJ doesn't mean anything at Roy's age.
That's like Larry Bird beating Michael Jordan....doesn't mean anything. Either it was a fluke or Jordan wasn't at his best that day. We all already know MJ is the greater, more athletic and more talanted player.
He should have went after Pavlik. More in his league. Another prime caucasian fighter who is the undisputed middleweight champ. That would have been the way to go out.
