Kessler: Pavlik has never fought a Division A guy!

Neither guy has beaten a top guy. Maybe JT was the top guy in the division. But he was overrated. He never truly beat hop, and HBO thought they could work with him to make him a household name, and found out he aint that dude. JT is a nice guy, but he lacks skills to stay at the top level.

Maybe overated but Winky was not and he fought a close fight with Wright and Bernard regardless of who people though won... So his talent is warented just not the lb for lber we thought he was capable of. JT on your resume is still a accomplishment... JT will be competitive with anybody in the division and looked like a sparring partner againts Pavlik.

I got my points on Pavlik if the bout is made. That should be a top level bout even though I am pretty sure it won't be made because Palle is a douche.

Should this fight be made I'll be happy to take your points! It'll be Kessler's jab on Pavlik's nose all night. And those booming rights will keep bouncing of off Pavlik's questionable chin.

Styles make fights. I'm just glad (I'm danish like Kessler so he's my man) he choose to name Pavlik and not Taylor. IMO Kessler beats Pavlik and looses to Taylor.

Kessler got something to proove as well. Hes Dannish though -jk.. I just thought Pavliks 2 wins againts a guy that has beat Hopkins twice, Drawn with Wright, Out pointed Corey Spinks was beaten decisively and easiliy by Pavlik. Hopefully they make that happen it would be interesting like I said. Kessler fades though and againts Calzaghe he stopped fighting.. Kelly looks to be a machine.

Good post. Pav is a beast. I like him. He is getting better and better. I want to see more of him. I think he beats kessler, but this math of who beat who never works for me. Soon it gets to the point that people say he has no flaws.

He whooped on the "gatekeeper" of the division Libarado Andrade. That dude looks so uncordinated I swear he just gets lucky... He was getting outboxed by Yousef Mack then bam knocks him out. We'll see he has yet to impress me.

I can go with that. He took the middleweight champ out. JT just came along at a time when the middleweight division was weak. Hop always talked about JT's style as if he had a lot to learn. Even when he lost to JT, he pointed out those flaws, and gave him respect after the rematch saying make sure you carry the torch. JT had the fast hands to stay in a fight with hop, and didn't have the toughness needed to stay in with a heavy handed slugger like pav. And it didn't hurt tha Pav could box a lick either.

As I said: Styles make fights. Pavlik is more hittable IMO and gives away far more target than Taylor. In terms of footwork Taylor is superior to Kessler but Pavlik is not. Pavlik cannot cope with Kesslers style but Taylor would outbox Kessler.

But thats just my humble opinion.

Good match up, bound to happen sooner or later. Want and think Kessler will win which would be great for him and also Calzaghe. All those saying Pavlik would beat Joe and that's a tougher match than Roy or Kessler can then theyre words.

How you figure that... If anything Taylor would be more on Kesslers pace. Taylor is good when his opponent lets him operate in spurts and it seems Kessler has problems with constant pressure as well. JT in a few cases waits for opponents to get off first and comes in if nothings happening. Kessler couldnt handle the constant onslaught of Calzaghe and just stopped punching cuz he was in d mode all the time... Pavlik hits harder than Joe although slower would be just as relentless. Kessler can Eb and flow with Taylor but againts Pavlik he better hope pavlik chin is soft cuz hes gonna be backing up all fight long and if he doesnt it'll be fireworks. I just don't see a guy who sticks his face out on Taylor, and makes good on his promise to slug with, who was dubbed the hardest puncher lb for lb in Miranda, not knowing he doesn't have something in the chin department.. All speculation till it gets made...
