    Mike Tyson had no heart

He had lil heart but average heart like any fighter that got in there did.I respect every fighter that get's in a ring do doubt. But why did people call him the baddest person in the planet hahhahahahahaha morales>>>him.Teddy atlas knew he would get disqualified against EvanderII because he couldnt go against the grain. He beat average fighters. But when it got tough he couldnt do it, he tried to get disqualified or pull a ***** move.

Tyson took an almighty beating against Douglas and stayed in there until he had nothing left, even managing to put Buster down along the way.. he warred twice with Ruddock, eating leather.. got pummelled by Lewis when he was about 15 years past his prime, and took the massacre humbly.. even in the first fight with Holy, which was a war (FOTY?), he refused to quit. The ref had to save him.

Mike had a ton of heart.

im sorry but i have to agree with the dude who made the thread...i mean in my eyes tyson will have to go down as one of the greatest heavyweights ever...i mean the dude won the title at 20! yes 20 years of age!!!! pure natural and destructive talent during the late 80's...but as for his heart, he really has none man...and its a shame because if he did he could of achieved much more greatness...i never thought id see the day when tyson would just sit on the ****ing floor after being sparked out by a danny williams (no disrespect cause i like williams..) or just sit on his ****ing stool and quit against a **** mcbride...tragic....

Actually, Killrain made excellent point as to why Tyson DID have heart. What he lacked was focus.

ok, ill admit, he did have some heart, i mean anyone who loses two father figures in his life and come from such a ****ty life yet still become a champion must have more heart than most people in the world! but im just saying in the ring...when someone started bullying him or pushing him back...he didnt know what to do...its like he lost his confidence..

He isn't cut out for boxing anymore, he's manic depressive, beset by financial difficulties, more of a spectacle, a sideshow, no longer a fighter. There's a difference between having a heart, and not having the passion to box any longer, Tyson in a proper state of mind, the real Tyson, the 80's, and 90's version especially couldn't spell the word quit. Get real, educate yourself.

If he had the proper people around, if Cus hadn't passed, if he'd have led a normal, peaceful existence outside of the ring (yeah yeah, if if) he would have dominated the heavyweight division probably right up until the late 90's, by which time, in his early thirties, he might have come undone by Lewis. But a prime Mike would've battered guys like old Foreman, Moorer, Holyfield (it'd have been close, for sure), Bowe (another titanic battle), Morrison, Briggs, Mercer, all those guys. No one had the skillset he had; the power, speed, defence and sheer ferocity.

I actually think Tyson's heart was very good, he took beatings against Holyfield, Douglas and Lewis and he took it like a man.

I think Tyson's problems were in his head.
