You can see Arum's plans on making Pavlik the biggest name in Boxing. They are showcasing him in non PPV fights this year and trying their hardest to score some big names for him.

Will Pavlik live up to Arum's expectations? Who knows. Unless Arum somehow convinces Joe to sign the dotted line, Pavlik will have a couple easy low money fights on NON PPV to help expose him more to the masses. This is why Mayorga is mentioned. We all know what Mayorga's role is, it is not to beat Kelly, but to showcase him to the masses.

Pavlik even said he would fight Godzilla if he had to. He said that was his job. His job is to fight and I personally cannot see him backing down from anyone. How successful he will be I don't know, but you will never see him try to take the ***** route.

He hasn't signed anything with Rubio, fool. He was trying to get the Calzaghe fight made, and Calzaghe's lame excuse not to fight was that he didn't think Pavlik really wanted to fight him. Now he can't fight Abraham yet, and he's gonna try to get Mayorga, which will at least be entertaining. And Rubio isn't as bad as people are saying, he's def. better than some of the alternatives. Rubio was there because Pavlik is a potential opponent of his, and he was given a free ticket. theres nothing "su****ious" about it. If they were trying to hide something, why would they give him a free ticket, and then invite him into the ring afterward?
