I Question Arums Intentions With Kelly

I think hes looking at making the most money with minimal risks from here on in.

Arum has put Kelly in, for the past 7 years, with minimal risk minimal money opponents, up until Miranda. Since Miranda, his stock has steadily risen. Arum has definitley babied Kelly a little bit IMO but to go from two wins over Taylor and a mandatory to - shooting for JC isn't exactly a minimal risk as far as his career goes.

pavlik is in it for the big fights. he is now going for the big guns. like calzaghe or even unifying middleweight division, arum seems to be behind him

The mandatory thing is a joke. And no doubt they encourage the WBO or whatever to put Rubio as mandatory to make more money.

Sure he has had tough fights. I doubt whether that trend will continue though.

Not to mention, after the Lockett fight, Kelly blatantly told Max K. he would fight whoever they throw in front of him. He called out Abraham and Joe C, saying when the crowd cheered, "Is that what you guys wanna see?" Kelly has the heart of a true champion and I think Arum will get him the most money at whatever risk he may encounter from this point on.
