When two shot fighers fight each other, you can see either how bad they are, or, you can be fooled into thinking they are not totally shot because since their opponent is not as good anymore, they might look better than we thought. This is what happened with BOTH Tito and Roy, and I believe a factor in this is people's undying love towards these two fighters and their refusal to accept that they are not top guys anymore. Both of this guys are totally shot, and for the first time ever I agree with squeelpiggy - when Joe wins, those who picked Roy (and after the Hopkins fight A LOT of people said Roy would win) would say Calzaghe just beat another old guy, and they will bring up his KO losses as proof that Roy was shot. Roy simply stands no chance against Calzaghe.

"Calzaghe is capable of hurting him, if anything Calzaghe hits harder than Glen Johnson when he decideds to hit his oponent with full power."

You know it could be that it's my bias against Calzaghe especially his power. I really feel that before Tarver, Roy beats the living schit out of Joe. Probably just my bias. I'd be surprized though if this fight or Pavlik or even Taylor for that matter ever happens.

i think roy pre heavyweight beats calzaghe but he hasnt looked the same since, i believe the weight problems combined with his age and slowing down, also the fact that when he did slow and his reflexes went he never adjusted his style to suit it
