Maybe because of the fact that there are so many posters on this site who seem to devote most of their posts to insulting the UK and/or its population. I like to talk about boxing, but it gets pretty tedious when most threads about a UK fighter seem to . I mean if someone dislikes Hatton, Calzaghe, Khan, Haye or anyone else then fine, but it seems like nationality is always brought into it with UK boxers.
I've heard of a baby being dropped on its head before, but some of these guys must've been bounced like basketballs. They are just ******ed to the point that you wonder how they manage to turn on their PC without burning the house(/bedsit) down.
The anti-British crap on this board far outweighs the anti-American crap.
Besides, Americans seem to make a million jokes per day about how British people have bad teeth. From having visited both countries I see no difference in dental hygiene. I'd be willing to change my mind if someone could give some evidence rather than just watching Austin Powers.
On the other hand it is a proven fact that America is a country full of fat ****s.Comment

LOL. The anti-British outweighs the anti-American? Actually this got brought up before. The thread was started by someone who openly stated that they hate Calzaghe and his fans, so I'm sure you'll question his objectivity like you just questioned mine, right? Even though I rate Calzaghe below Pacquiao p4p, started a thread about how poor his performance was against Hopkins, predicted that he'd lose to Dawson if they ever fought and criticised him for not fighting Pavlik. I also have stated that I'm not a Hatton fan and don't enjoy his style and that Amir Khan's next opponent is **** and the fight shouldn't have been made. But whatever.
Anyway, I previously went off and searched through the posts that had been made the previous week and found that there was a lot more anti-British than anti-American. I provided evidence to support my claim. Have a look at my post: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...2&postcount=25
I'm sure you honestly believe that you are in the right and that I am just biased, but I've been through this debate before and provided facts to support my argument. No one on this forum had any response, but of course the same BS gets posted non-stop.
So, with all due respect I'm not going to bother again.
Furthermore the anti-American stuff tends to be "fat Yanks", which is about as insulting as "green tooth limey" in my opinion. There are dozens of anti-British posters on this site who take it several steps further than that.
If a British fighter is criticised, his nationality is almost always mentioned. But even though Mayweather has had many hate threads made about him, the % that mention his nationality as if it was somehow inferior by nature is far lower than the % that mention the nationality of people like Calzaghe, Haye and Hatton.
Squealpiggy has posted it more than once before. It's common knowledge, or at least I thought it was...Last edited by Clegg; 06-13-2008, 09:25 PM.Comment
