    but they're 2 different styles of fighters. floyd is a pure boxer. shane is an excellent boxer but prone to be drawn into a slugfest.

    shane at 135 though had the speed he rarely had most of his career at 147 and 154 when the weight hurt him imo. i think after beating oscar he should've moved back down to 140 or even 135 if he still could. the weightlifting , added weight and possibly steroids slowed shane down.

    shane vs. floyd is nothing but pure opinion. you can make a case for either without being too out there. shane has never fought anyone with such speed and technical brilliance but floyd probably never met anyone as fast and strong as shane was at 135 either and shane has a hell of a chin.

      A prime Whitaker would have handed oscar his ass. A prime Mosley already handed Oscar his ass in his first fight moving up from lightweight.

      Floyd has set himself apart from guys like Oscar and shouldn't be compared to anybody below the level of SRL, SRR, Hearns, etc,.
