you gotta give De La Hoya credit for having big balls to want to get in the ring with Cotto, a guy who could wreck him to his weakest area-bodyshots-

I see these shinanigans go either two ways.

1 is that its a BIG promotion Game and currently everybody is only speaking of Bob Arum and his Camp of fighters which makes Golden Boy look like chumps so why not start calling names out and stirring up the pot. basically all hype.

2 is that De La Hoya sees big money in the Margarito/Cotto fight not only based on both guys are deadly fighters but that its a Mexican Puerto Rican war. Both races dislike each other and it makes big money because Mexican and Puerto ricans are passionate about thier boxers. So why not Call out Cotto **** it it makes HUGE MONEY in the end.

              Oscar!!!

When it's all said and done, Oscar's boxing record will show he fought everyone there was to fight, his list of opponents reads like a who's who in boxing......The only two names that won't be there are Winky & Forrest, as far as I"m concerned a case could be made for Winky, however timing and interest never seemed to be right for them to meet, as far as Vernon is concerned, he was never really a serious option...........

So it's no surprise that Oscar would choose to call out Cotto, once again Oscar is willing to fight the very top guys that are out there.....He is a true warrior!!!

Oscar always chooses the wrong guy to win.
He is worse than ****ing Teddy Atlas.

That's why Oscar is where he's at right now . He is a fighter who always wants to fight the best. He doesn't run away from challenges, he embraces them.
