Thats why i disagree with Tunney, He was trying to imply that Dawson didnt want to fight Diaconu for some reason when all the reason why the fight didnt happen had everything to do with Diacanu/promoter and nothing to do with dawson.

No, I think he chose to fight Johnson instead of Diaconu because Showtime wanted to televise it, and they might not have been interested in Diaconu, who only hard core boxing fans like us are familiar with.

Although I think Dawson won the Johnson fight clearly, he paid a heavy toll to get that win. He was not ready for that kind of fire power.

After the fight he didn't seem confident when asked about a rematch. Dawson is guy who reveals a lot of vulnerabilities in post-fight interviews, and he revealed some after that one.

In that sense, I feel he is vulnerable.

Dawson wants a rematch, it's just that he has to beat Adrian Diaconu first, and if there was an immediate rematch, Dawson will beat him convincingly next time.

If Dawson agrees to the fight, the fight would likely take place in the Bell Centre in Montreal with more than 20,000 people attending the fight. ESPN has already been to Montreal a number of times and they've been very happy with the market there. I think this is a showtime fight that would take place in Montreal if Dawson doesn't choose to fight Tarver instead. I see Dawson as a favourite but Diaconu can be very sneaky and has a lot of pop and experience.

Hes a very accurate and hard puncher. I don't think that he is a knockout artist, but an accumlulative puncher that could wear you down if he is connecting often enough. So yes, i would say that hes pretty heavy handed.
