    Boxer suing Jay-Z for $88,000,000

Former boxer and current personal injury lawyer Mitchell Rose is suing Jay-Z for $88 Million for copyright infringement.

Rose claims he gave Jay-Z his demo tape in 2001 after the William Joppy and Felix Trinidad. Rose says he was shocked after discovering Jay-Z had stolen his style and even some lyrics.

“I saw Jay-Z as we were leaving the arena after the fight, gave him my tape, and asked him to listen to it”, explained Rose. “He took the demo with him and shortly after that he began using the whispering (which he now frequents) in his songs. I had previously trained some of my artists to use that style, but it quickly became obsolete after Jay-Z got a hold of it. He used the whispering to enhance his music and financially benefit from it. Jay-Z disregarded the fact that it was my demo where he got the style from as he went on to use it for his own personal gains, which is wrong.”

Rose has served the lawsuit papers to two of Jay-Z's 40/40 Clubs.

He better be a damn good lawyer, because there's little to no chance he gets ANYTHING out of this, let alone 88 million.

Money doesn't mean **** in terms of patents, trademarks, copyrights or infringement of any sort of intellectual properties. If he can prove Jay-Z only started to use this after he was given his demo and it proves to be uncanny in terms of similarity he might be able to walk away with a decent chunk of change. Stranger things have happened...

will i think he just going to have some couple mil not 88mil.

this is only to starting number then it goes way down.

and i think he is going to lose because he too his style not lyrics as he said so which cant be proven in court because art is abstract thing

Giving him a tape that Jay-z could of easily thrown away or never said he got it is pretty damn simple. Especially him giving it to him after a fight. Come on now, too easy.

The most important piece of proof is the demo. Him giving it to him after the fight is a completely unbelievable unrealistic possibility to you?
