also i cant remember Tyrell Biggs having a stellar career ,allthough he beat Lennox Lewis

abdullaev beat Cotto in the Olympics ,Cotto beat him as a Pro

This really means nothing ,one of the ones that i can think of that did have a bearing was Mosley v Forrest
actually it means something if you beat them by ko.

This would be a very good fight. I doubt it will happen soon though because Ortiz isnt as famous as Khan is now. SO it wouldnt be that interesting for the promoters at this moment. The fight will most likely happen if both of them are world champion so that they can promote it as unification.

A year ago I would say that Ortiz would beat Khan because of the very poor defence of Khan way back then. But now that Khan is being trained by Roach I see him beating Ortiz. If you watch Khans latest fights you scan see his improved lateral movement. He never did that before. Now he actually does.

Didn't Calzaghe stop Chris Byrd in the ams? (which is to say the ams don't determine what happens in the pros)

A stoppage is a stoppage whether its ameuteurs or pros, its just the scoring and game is different, but a Ko is a KO. saying someone who lost on points in an amateur fight is gonna win is one thing, but someone who got knocked out is uterley riddiculous Amir Khan is ten times better and punches harder these days, Roach made Khan loads better, Ortiz has improved but I think Khan has improved more. I give Ortiz seven rounds before he is on the canvass max

He was the number-one guy and going into the fight he was unbeaten for so long, so the odds were completely against me."

Did anyone else know about this?

Ortiz already adressed this comment. He stated the fight was STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE POINTING SYSTEM.

Yes he lost, but it was never a TKO, KO or anything along those lines. Ill try to pull up the video
