I believe ihe does because fans doubted his top 10 staying power after his first loss. To come out and blow a guy out in half a round imo has done wonders for him with the public, but not his pockets. His net worth rose a bit. You go from beating margs to losing, and then winning a rematch against a man who beat you. I don't think he will have a chance to show his true net worth unless cotto can beat margs, and he beats cotto.
Interesting Discussion: Did the Quintana loss have net worth for Williams?

lol its not like a personal diss.. more of a joke than anything, but u shoulda seen ALL the slack i got for betting on williams prior to the fight, people telling me im crazy, im gonna be broke, williams is a hype job and overrated and is going to lose, and how could i even THINK of betting on williams, am i ******ed?
so you know what?
Now if I won that kind of money on Mora winning I'd be an extremely dissful camper but Williams was the favourite. He did knock him out but he was a solid favourite to win. Why do you think I only bet like 5k on El Indio.Comment

well on the forum he sure wasnt a favorite.. how about the bet i had with left2body... which is my boy on here... 50k, 100k by ko... lol i didnt even expect a ko so i was like yeah ok sure hahaComment

Wow, I didn't see that one. lol. When has Williams been hurt? Damn, that's some scandalous betting on his part.Comment

well it was like 100k if either guy got KOed... wiliams was rocked slightly in the marg fight but he came right back... hes never been out on his feet, he just wanted to do it to make the bet more exciting, i dont think either of us were expecting a KO lolComment

Yeah... no one was knocking Castillo out at 135, except for the extremely heavy handed Corrales... and he was STILL on his feet. If he had done that... WOW.
Thanks for the responses guys! I guess I'm not alone in thinking that the loss helped him, even on the resume.Comment
