Who would be a better test for Williams? Clottey or Mosley?

Which fighter would bring out the qualities in Williams that can help us determine how well he would do against Cotto? Williams has the physical advantages over Cotto obviously, but what about the intangibles, the smarts, the things you learn from experience?

Clottey or Mosley. Who would be the best fighter to showcase this against?

imo... mosley doesnt move his head enough anymore and doesnt have the tightest defense ive ever seen...

clottey however is alot more agile, and keeps his hands up

mosley is a much bigger name, but id personally be more impressed with a win over clottey

It would be Clottey. He loves to go to the body similar to Cotto. He's in his prime and may be physically stronger than Williams. But Shane's determination and no quit attitude would be a good test for Williams as well. But I still say Clottey.

I don't think Clottey is even in the same league as Mosley. Shane has had tons of trouble against longer fighters in previous bouts, but I'd still give him the nod.

They are both good fighters, personally I like Shane out of the two but I think Clottey is the kind of fighter that can give problems to almost any opponent. That tight grip defense of his and quick counterpunching would give Williams problems all night I think. My vote goes for Clottey.

It can go either way. For the casual fan, a victory over a known Mosley could raise Williams' stock as it did for Cotto.

Beating Clottey would also be a good look as Clottey is the younger up and coming Welterweight who I believe he'll face sometime down the road soon anyway.

It's a win / win against either guy.

Mosley is the veteran fighter who is past it and can still hang with the young fighters at 147 but can't beat them. I would be more impressed with a win over clottey than mosley at this stage.
