    i agree with you.

but people feel joe should be no. 1 because he's undefeated and they think manny lost the fight with jmm.

I said this already, but here we go again. Boxing P4P should be based on 5 basic criteria...I already listed Pac-Man P4P since last year. Obviously, The Ring agreed with me. Mayweather is the most boring P4P boss in history, if not for a very long time. Whitaker, a defensive wiz with about 18 Ko's, was never boring though he was no Ko specialist. He also gave an exciting fight vs. prime Hoya, something not mentioned often. Back to criteria.
      1) Overall technical skills
      2) Drawing power (exciting to watch/pay to see)
      3) Quality of oppponents(bums or evenly matched fighters)
      4) Abilty to deliver a quality fight consistently
      5) Record and number of times stopped

I don't have many problems with it, both Pacquiao and Calzaghe had difficult, close last fights, Pacquiao gets the nod because of the sheer quality of his opposition and his conquering of three weight divisions, going for a fourth against the WBC champion at that.
