There is no such thing as a warrior in boxing unless they all are.
There is a line and extreme for everything, watch any Kendall Holt or Yuri Foreman's fights and you'll see what I mean.

i do think you make a good point, although i kind of disagree with if, for me the definition of true warrior its a fighter that doesnt back down, that comes to fight every moment and its not scared of a challenge, if you lack a defense but win then your fight will be exiting as hell, but thats another story,

many great fighters had a great defense and were not scared of a fight/challenge those are the true warriors for me, like hagler, hearns, prime tyson, meldrick taylor, chavez , holyfield, dwight kawi, nigel benn .... etc .. etc
all these guys had to say the least a good defense, and some of them a great defense and i think most ppl think they are true warriors.

but yeah i see the validity of your vision too

Calling a guy a "true warrior" is usually what good boxers call their opponents after embarrassing them. It's a way of saying, "You suck, but you tried"

See Mayweather-Hatton or any Roy Jones fight

If a Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather called me a "true warrior" that wouldn't make me feel good because I know what it really means. I bet you like to get patted on the head and told you're wonderful too. Most children do.

have u ever Boxed cause i have and when u win a fight it is hard to find the words to say to your oponents after a fight ,u respect them but dont know how to express whats in your head without making it sound patronising cause u have won the fight

that dont mean u think there a **** in the back of your mind ,unless you are really imature like yourself

I doubt he's ever held a pair of boxing gloves let alone set foot in a gym to hit a real punching bag.
