        Ok, so how about:
        Ali
        Leonard
        Duran
        Robinson
        JCC

        I can go on forever.

I'll say it again. There are exceptions.

But I doubt most Mexican fight fans would consider Ali and Leonard to be "true warriors" because they were guilty of throwing jabs and moving around the ring at times

Then someone should properly determine what does the term "true warrior" means.

To me, any man who is willing to set foot in a boxing ring willingly wanting to go 12 rounds against another man is a warrior. Now there are exceptions to this of course, a true warrior goes in the ring and gives the fans knock outs, he is willing to put his body through punishment and fatigue and hurting is opponent in the process to ultimately win a fight. That is after the whole concept of boxing isn't it?

I personally choose these kind of fighters over the ones who potshot all night, get on their bikes when they get in trouble, and look to win on the cards. Those fighters although "warriors" in their own way are boring fighters and do not provide the same excitement than the ones who are willing to dig in and go toe-to-toe against their opponents to become the best.

In closing, all Mexican fighters = True Warriors.

              1. You are RunWithKnives' little brother

              2. I've seen Cristian Mijares box to a decision. He cannot be a warrior. Too skilled

A true warrior according to "real" fight fans (Mexican fight fans) is a guy who throws 60-100 punches a round and eats 50 flush on the chin on purpose (strategy). If you throw jabs you cannot be a warrior

                I disagree however

Floyd took 8/9 rounds to get rid of Bruseles when it was abundantly clear after 2 rounds he could have got him outta their well insde 8/9 rounds

he also decided to run from Baldy for 12 rounds when he was completely owning him nobodys is saying that he could have got the Iron chinned Baldy outta there but he could have done more to look impressive ,Baldy is slow as Hell and has 13 KO in 61 fights ,its not like he would have knocked Floyd out or caught him with much

no one is saying he has to fight like Gatti we are just saying there are ways of fighting defensively and preserving your health and looking good doing it Ray Leonard is a good example

people were leaving the areana when Floyd fought Baldy thats how mind-Numbingly boring Floyd was ,then we had the World awaits Jeez ,im just gonna leave it there TBH

The whole point of your thread is to make people think Mexican fighters are mindless brawlers who get hit a lot and have no defense, just come out and say it and stop sugarcoating it, you fool.

Mijares and JM Marquez contradict that theory though. All I am doing is pointing out how insipid fans are when they try to call one guy a warrior and the other one less than a warrior. Margarito is no more a warrior than Mayweather because he "strategically" gets hit in the face with punches while Floyd "cowardly" avoids the punches. That is the one and only point. There is no such thing as a warrior in boxing unless they all are.
