Do you honestly think Gatti would have been even competitive if the fight happened at ANY point of Gatti's career? That was just the worse possible matchup I could ever think of...

Floyd would have beat Gatti prime or Shot the problem is he would not have had the balls to fight Gatti in his prime even if he thought there was a very strong possibilty he would have won

he is retired cause aint got the cajones to fight Cotto and he would rather fight little Ricky Hatton than a loaded WW division

he picked Gatti cause he knew he would look impressive cause Gatti would be an even easier target than before cause he is shot to bits

You can't be serious. If they fought earlier, say lightweight, Gatti loses his life in 3 rounds.

He'll come back sooner or later. It sucks he left right now cuz he's got unfinished business in the WW division tho.

People sure seem to be taking this "retirement" talk seriously.

I always enjoyed watching him fight, and I'd like to see him fight in the future which he might. He's a master boxer, but if he wants to retire. Then so be it.

If he stays retired, I will miss him for a long time. There is no one around right now who is so spectacularly skilled. He is a once in 20 years type of fighter.
