Funny you should say that, I just watched Pavlik vs Miranda like 5 minutes ago too and I feel kinda silly now.

Pavlik looked awesome in that fight, it's his best fight to date IMO.

Miranda is exciting but he's nothing special. Kelly's best fight to date was definitely his first fight with Taylor.

I just watched Pavlik vs Miranda for the first time. I know its slack that i haven't watched it before. But Pavlik has an awesome chin, awesome power and decent hand speed. His reach makes him simply better than everyone else at MW.

And i think he would TKO everyone including Abraham, Mundine, Sturm, etc etc.

Pavlik is the real deal and if he was to fight Calzaghe. I would start both fighters at even money!

Better than both of them though, was the actual fight. It was an amazing barn burner. It was my fight of 2007 and one of my all time favs. That second round was the best round I ever seen. Both of them landed huge bombs on each other in the biggest battle of wills I have ever seen (maybe second to Hagler vs Hearns Round 1). After a solid minute and a half of them just beating the piss out of each other in close without a clinch, they finally do and Steve Smoger goes up to them and says "beautiful, beautiful, beautiful" and that is what it was.

As for the fighters. They are what they are. They both just go in there and try to take your head off. Both of them will fight anyone. Pavlik is the more skilled fighter, but he gave up those skills to take it to Miranda, which was a crazy but effective thing to do.

So many called Miranda a bum after that fight, but he won me over big time. The guy took a terrible beating, but never gave up and dished one out himself. That won me over with him. Poor guys eyes were reduced to slits and he was still swinging.

The Miranda fight was crazy. Especially when Miranda starting hacking away. I think he landed like 4 straight power shots on Kelly but he kept coming and punishing Miranda. Great fight. You should watch his fight against Zertuche. Not that it was a big win but that fight was great too.

Yeah Zertuche at the time was a very dangerous guy. He took it to Kelly and was just ripping shots. Kelly got to him in the end and basically ruined him as a fighter, but he was giving Kelly lots of scary moments. The guy could punch and had very bad intentions.

The reason I know Zertuche was ruined is because Rubio recently beat him. A normal Zertuche would have destroyed Rubio.
