respect gentleman hatton on that decision but i think he should take the dlh fight for the big moola!
he looses no statis in a lost and think he would get less hurt against dlh than some of the other opponents he'll be going after.

Hatton Approached By Pacquiao, De La Hoya: Tells Oscar No

Ricky Hatton has been approached for bouts with Manny Pacquiao and with Oscar De La Hoya. De La Hoya was set to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a rematch on September 20. The fight was scrapped after Mayweather announced his retirement last Friday. Hatton was approached to fill the void, but his father, Ray Hatton, tells BBC Sport that a De la Hoya fight was turned down because Hatton would need more time to prepare for such a fight. [details]

DLH vs. Margarito/Cotto would be awesome.

I thought De la Hoya said he didn't want to fight Hatton because it didn't make business sense since he was promoted by him now?

Anyway, Hatton v. Pacquiao in Manila would be nice!
It would be one hell of an event.

What is Oscar's new strategy anyway? "I could not beat floyd so I will pick fights with progressively smaller guys"

I hear Molitor is available for a fight now!LOL
