From the 1st time hearing the Pac vs Hatton fight, i am against it. Pac is too small for 140. And he should concentrate on Diaz first before thinking of his next fight.

Seem's like a typical choice of opponent for the Pacman. Pac won't officially "step up," he'll just keep tryin to play it safe and ride in the middle.

But ironically, I think Pac's natural instinct to try to cherry pick would come back and haunt him in a fight like this. Hatton is way too big and way too active. I think if Juan Diaz get's by his next guy, he should call out both Paq and Campbell. Which ever one is open to fight. I think he deserves it more than Hatton.
      :-(

fighting for a belt at 135 and maybe 140 for a guy that started out at flyweight is cherry picking?

oh yeah i forgot manny ducked guzman , soto , valero and is ducking marquez again for the 3rd time......

he can throw it all night......but what would he be throwing?

        an okay 140 punch? a strong 135 punch? or a solid 130 punch? a great 126 punch?

if it's the last one.......he'll be in for a long night.......

Have you ever seen Manny hit the heavybag? With Hatton leaving his head exposed and all, people are underestimating Manny's power. Manny has been fighting at 146 in his last fight, he'll probably be even stronger from not being weight drained.

            yes i have.

manny has very good power at 130 but he's not as explosive as he was at 122 and 126. if his power even improves with him not having to weight drain even better for me i'm a manny fan.

hatton leaves his head exposed but don't forget he is gonna lay on manny all night long. i don't know if manny has the strength to push a junior welter off.

            i hope you're right though.

Pac didn't duck anyone. I like EM MAB Joan Guzman JMM and etc I'll admitt he hasn't duck anyone and that is why he is easily P4P1 with Floyd gone. But in all honesty I see Guzman winning a U.D over him and making him look silly.

Manny is strong as a bull and probably stronger than hatton even. What you are talking about with explosiveness is loss of speed, not power. He's going to need his speed at 140 to be able to hold his ground and fire that left before hatton closes in then move before he gets backed up.

i don't think he'll make him look silly. guzman is very good and very technical and he'll make manny miss a lot.

manny has one thing going for him and that's his speed. great boxers can make slower fighters look silly. manny will miss but he'll land his fair share. depending on guzman's chin he has a chance. if he has a good chin and he can stay off the mat he has the ability to outbox manny and get a ud. juan outboxed manny and win rounds. joan can do the same thing as juanma if he can just not get kd which juanma couldn't do.

i'm more worried about physical strength. ricky will grab and push does manny have the strength to handle it? this is a strong junior welter we're talking about.

we'll see. first hings first , hopefully manny has power at 135. i wouldn't mind see him take on casa or juan.

That is why im more concerned about speed, so he can plant his feet, fire the left, then circle before getting grabbed. His shots have enough pop to stop hatton's advance dead in his tracks, but will Pacman have enough speed to plant, then move will be the big question
