Whats the beef between US and British fight fans????

I say that we count up the wins and loses in title fights between u.s guys and the uk guys. Go way back in time and start counting. Going past to present its a blow out.

Ok then lets go from the fifties to now, ooops still a blow out.

Maybe from the 90's to the present, its closer but Id still say the us comes out on top.

The brits can fight, the europeans can fight and ofcourse the us can fight. 'nough said. But it does seem very very tough to get a fair nod from the judges when fighting in the uk or europe................Rockin'

The US is the biggest boxing country in the world. Just in terms of population, of course more great fighters will be American. If you look at the difference in population, and then compare that to the difference in the number of great fighters from each country, it makes sense.

I don't see any difference in the quality, just the amount of it. There's nothing in the water in America that makes us better. The talent pool is just bigger in the US..

I agree. However I wouldnt just call the pool bigger I would call it deeper as well.

Honestly, I would rate mexico ahead of the uk aswell.

I'm American and I think Joe is sick as hell. I also thought Nigel Benn's win over McClellan was one of the most amazing victories in history.
