I think the most obvious obstacle is the size difference. The UFC's lightest division is 155 and Floyd's ideal fighting weight is 147 right? Most of the guys in the 155 division walk around at over 170 pounds so he would be at a large size disadvantage. Obviously his hands would be unmatched, but throw in the reach advantage, leg kicks, clinch, 6 oz gloves and some dirty boxing and Floyd could face some problems even on his feet from the bigger opponents he would face at lightweight.

As for the 200 million figure, it isn't out of the realm of possibility. Look at Beckham's deal with the LA Galaxy, $250 million, but only a portion of it is salary from the MLS. The majority from sponsorship monies, merchandise percentages, etc.

Elite XC does 6+ million views from Kimbo on a Saturday night at 11:30 PM. Floyd Mayweather the focal point of a network deal with Fox would be HUGE. Floyd + UFC brand would be big business.
Mayweather would never make the sort of money Beckham does, Beckham is most likely the most famous sportsman on earth! but im sure UFC could cof up something like $10m but the fight would be over in a minute either in favour or against Mayweather.

First of all Floyd would have to fight in the WEC because he is too small for any UFC weight divisions. Secondly, he would have absolutely no success at the top level regardless. A beast like Faber would end 10/10 fights with him in the first round by submission (this is after a year or so of training). If Floyd were to choose the MMA path the only justification would be personal challenge, as the money isn't there either.
