Stop Overhyping Williams

Ever since Williams won to Quintana yesterday, Horus and every Floyd fan has been acting like he is the greatest of them all, that he will beat Cotto and dominate the division. What is funny is that fans like Horus contradict themselves because they demand Cotto to do somethings like fight P4P fighters and top contenders (which by the way he is doing) but you didn't see Floyd Mayweather doing that and we all know Horus was his biggest fan, then we have claims that Cotto is overhyped because he knocked a lot of lightweights, but Cotto has never fought a lightweight, he has fought light welterweights and welterweights, then they say Cotto should stop fighting people's remains since he is fighting Margarito and Paul Williams deafeated Margarito but then again remind me who it was that beat Paul Williams and it took another fight so he could defeat him? Was it someone that Cotto had already deafeated? Then there's all this new Williams fight who were Floyd fans saying that Cotto is either ducking Williams or that Cotto should fight Williams and clear out the division, these are the same members who critized fans for trying to look for someone to deafeat Mayweahter, and now that Mayweather is gone they are trying to find fighters to defeat Cotto, and by the way just to make sure, Cotto is not ducking or avoiding Williams, he is concentrated on his July fight against Antonio Margarito, after that he will fight Williams sooner than you think. Like I said stop being hypocrites and give Cotto the credit he deserves, because it is these members discrediting Cotto's wins that leads other members to "overhype" Cotto the same way that some members overhyped Floyd Mayweather and are now overhyping Paul Williams.

I don't hate you OR Williams. It's just hypocritical. You can be hhypocritical if you'd like, just admit that you're biased. That's all.

You're a reletively cool guy, but this we will never agree on. You can't take away from Cotto if you're giving that much attention to a guy who still has a WAYS to go. He might make it, but that's NO REASON to hate on Cotto, who has proven more up to this point.

BUT HE WON'T LOSE TO MARGARITO. That's not hype, that's general believe among people who have seen and believe in Cotto's skills. What are they supposed to do? Reserve judgement until 5 years down the road or something? They support their fighter like you support yours.

Past his prime or not, Mosley was a bigger threat then Margarito presents and Cotto fought pretty good catching him with shots I never thought he could. Margarito won't even be the best fighter Cotto has proved himself against. Cotto is the best Welterweight right now and a Top 10 P4P fighter.

How is he gonna fall from Grace like Vargas, even if he losses to Margarito (which he won't)? He could comeback, avenge his loss and go on to have a great career.

The back and forth bickering between extremist Floyd fans like yourself and extreme cotto fans isn't gonna effect the outcome or the future of Cotto's career. He has alrady proven himself to be a more capable fighter then Vargas as he has beaten Prime/unbeaten fighters and past their prime great fighters. The only PRIME AND GREAT fighter in his division is Mayweather and he doesn't wanna fight him. So it's not his fault he can't prove himself in that department.

Anyone who says he's unbeatable, like somebody did in anotha thread is wrong. But he's damn good and deserves most of the props he's gotten.
