And By Me defending some of his claims that he is one of the greatest fighter to ever do it.. Especially in this generation..!!!! I know how bad it will be if Floyd ever loses to a fighter who is not great. all hell would break loose.

I AM starting to see Some Cotto Fans on here Hyping Cotto up so bad that if he fails..He will have no room for the benefit of the doubt...Because SOME OF YOU GUYS insist that Cotto compares to Mayweather accomplishment wise

People over hype a lot of fighters Cotto & Floyd alike. But Cotto deserves a lot of respect for what he has done, just like Floyd & many other fighters of the sport. He may not have the superb defense that Mayweather has, but Mayweather doesn't have the great offense Cotto has. In other words Cotto is excellent in what he specializes in, and Mayweather is excellent in what he specializes in.

No ones feeling are gonna be hurt on here if Cotto was to lose ( If their feelings are hurt they should grow up & wake up to reality). I believe many of them will still be fans (Me included). Because we respect him as a fighter, not for how much money he makes on a PPV match up or how many people tune in to watch him.

I just have to ask (And please give me a serious answer)

first off youre basically sayin because people on boxing scene forums hype fighter A and then fighter A loses he will be discredited too an even greater extent. Do you see the holes in this way of thinking? Cotto could get KO'd in the first round, not likely, but possible and he could then go on to resume a great career. What if he chose to retire after such a loss? Do you discredit everything he did in his career? I understand what you are saying but it truly is a flawed way of thinking on many levels.
