Paul Williams Proved a figher can have an off night.

I thought it was a bit of a fluke that Quintana beat him. He goes in a rematch and takes Quintana out in one round, IMO proving he had an off night the first time. Now in saying all of this why cant people understand he beat Margarito on an off night and that a rematch will prove everything once and for all? Margarito should get a rematch with Williams if he loses, Cotto wouldnt fight Williams till he gets his name up there

No, Quintana's movement gave him huge problems last time. Williams just jumped on him so Quintana couldn't get into the movement. It was a brilliant gameplan, but I'm still not convinced he can fight an accurate mover.

      Lol.

Then I suppose Quintana had an off night.

It wasn't an off night. He clearly overlooked Quintana, and Quintana got caught early. He has no legs!

If Margarito loses to Cotto why the hell would he deserve a shot at Williams and the belt again?? It was Margarito and Arum that refused the rematch in the first place. You don't sound confident Margarito will beat Cotto, too bad, I think he will.

So am I. That's why this Cotto vs Williams talk doesn't matter. Margarito will KO Cotto and destroy him, and hopefully Arum steps up to the plate.

Win/Lose i see the fight happening. I just dont see Cotto fighting Williams, since he is not that big a name marketing wise, he wants to try to lure Mayweather into a fight, at the very least, DLH

If he loses it doesn't matter, if he wins and doesn't fight Williams all the journalists and fans who big him up for being the anti-Floyd will laugh at him. Like I said, Williams is in the driver's seat.

that's what separates great from good.

great fighters can have an off night and still win.

It's simple really. If Magarito wins (which I don't think is gonna happen), him and Williams have some unfinished business. Good fight.

If cotto wins (and he will) then he has a new Top 10 welterweight opponent out there he has to take care of. Had Quintana beaten Williams again he wouldn't have to worry but it didn't happen.
