Max is right. Maybe there's no big fights at 160 right now, but there are other respectable guys wit belts. Pavlik don't need those belts cuz they just splintered out of Hopkins' and Taylor's linear reigns, but takin out Sturm and/or AA is better than a Rubio fight. Doubtful the Winky fight will happen, and Joe C will want RJ 1st.

I though wow, this applies to that fighter that retired the other day why has he never mentioned this about that fighter who only fights when they pay him a ton of money or when his opponet is famous? I think Kellerman doesn't like Pavlik, i've seen Kelleraman many times and he kisses ass to most all boxers and im surprised he trashed Pavlik like this. And if Pavlik keeps hungry he's going to be fun to watch that guys power is for reals(kind of figured so when he beat the look a like tyson)

On a sidenote, my brothers who know little of boxing find Kellerman to be a good announcer for the hype he brings to the fight. But then again they don't sit quite to hear what he has to say afterwards while im trying to hear what Kellerman is saying they are talking about something else.
I love Max but I do think he was unfair to Pavlik last night and that shocked me some. However, he is not wrong about Pavlik. Max is not saying always. He's saying that while your a young guy in your 1st division then thats what you have to do. Im sure that Max will tell you that Floyd cleaned out the 130 division like 2 times over when he was at the same stage as Pavlik and when it was super deep. Then after that is when you can move up and look for the other big fights.

Again, Floyd is 32 and has fought in 5 divisions while beating some top guys so we cant keep acting like the guy did nothing or is some 26 year old who is only fighting part time. He put in his work and fought his way to the top. I think people forget that it took him a long time to get to the #1 spot. No one wanted to put him there so he had to wait until like 12 guys lost and when he got there people have been trying to take him off ever since.

Did anyone notice it was a little awkward between them in the post fight interview? Kellerman asked him about his next opponent and Pavlik said something like "uh, we went over this already in the pre-fight meeting" which I took as Kellerman was asking questions he wasn't supposed to be but I may be wrong.
I took that as Pavlik feeling disrespected by the question that Max was asking and he probably was already mad when Max asked him that before the fight. I think he was upset that Max was dissing him about "fighting the Gary Lockett's of the world", like Pavlik is scared to fight top guys. The 1st thing Max said was that he's entitled to 1 Gary Lockett after the big fights he just had in a row yet he still ripped him like he's a guy who ducks big fights. I thought Max was wrong for that and thats why I think Pavlik was upset with those questions which probably had him upset even before the fight

Are you talking to me? If so then your a ****in clown. Did you read what I said. You cant expect a guy to clean out every single division he goes to, e****ally in his 4th class and at the end of his career. Floyd cleaned out 130 fool. What, do you want him to go to 154 and clean that out also, just because he fought there and is still good?

I agree with everything he said actually. Why go chase the big names? Prove your the best, build your own legacy by cleaning out the division.

That's what I always say, people act like it was Floyd's starting weight division. That's like saying Roy Jones was dodging all the good heavyweights.
